An Independent Entity

The investigative power of the Realm shall be vested in two branches: the City Investigators and the Center of Justice.

The former shall serve at the pleasure of the people and the crown and be subject to oversight thereof.

The Center of Justice shall uphold and defend the realm and be exempt from oversight by the Imperial Monarch in all matters not pertaining to nobility and royalty. In such instances, the Inquisitors will submit their findings to the crown for due consideration. In all other matters, the Center of Justice will serve as an independent entity and is hereby granted the power and jurisdiction to execute judgment in whatever manner it deems necessary.
